Danny

Twenty-seven years in the hair industry. Over 500 hours of advanced continuing education. But the number that matters most: thousands—the number of stylists I've trained, coached, and educated across the country.

I spent multiple years as a Redken National Artist, traveling coast to coast as a platform educator and manufacturer-certified trainer. I've educated other stylists at major national hair shows—not just demonstrating technique, but teaching the why behind it. Color theory. Formulation logic. Corrective strategy. The science that separates a colorist from someone who applies color.

I've led hands-on workshops at distributor training centers. I've walked into salons and rebuilt their color programs from the ground up. I've lectured at cosmetology schools, mentored new stylists, and developed education tracks that turned average technicians into confident, principle-based colorists. When Regis Corporation needed a new playbook for onboarding new district leaders across an hundreds of salons, I was one of the leaders selected to write it.

Education isn't something I did. It's how I think. Every consultation I do with a client is built the same way I'd build a class: here's what's happening with your hair, here's why, here's what we're going to do about it, and here's what you need to understand so you can maintain it. I don't just want to fix your color—I want you to actually understand your hair.

That's rare. Most stylists aren't trained to explain the work. Most clients have never had anyone bother to try.

I opened The Haircolor Studio to practice hair color the way I taught it: with intention, with precision, and with respect for the chemistry involved. Corrective color. Gray transitions. Box dye removals. Banding. Brass. Breakage. The cases other stylists refer out—or worse, guess their way through. This work requires a diagnostic mindset, not a mood board.

One guest. One stylist. No double-booking. No assistants. No rushing.

If your hair has a complicated history, I was trained for this—and I've trained others for it too. If you want a colorist who can explain exactly what's happening and why, you're in the right place.

And if you've ever left a salon confused about what was done to your own head, that ends here.

Jackson

Jackson is the studio dog—a 5-year-old German Shepherd/Rat Terrier mix who takes his greeting duties very seriously. He's friendly, well-behaved, and usually parked somewhere nearby hoping for attention.
